Bio

Like many announcers before him, Gardiners Rodeo career began in the arena as a contestant. While competing in both the Roughstock and Timed Events, he gained an insight and love for the sport of Rodeo. It is that love for the sport and appreciation for the contestants that he tries to convey to the audience each and every performance. It his distinctive sound, infectious energy and informative style that has seen him climb the ranks of the industry.

Since starting in 2004 Brett has been fortunate enough to be a part of some of the very best events in Canada and has gained many prestigious accolades along the way. Gardiner found early success when selected to work his first semi-professional finals in 2005 at the age of 21, It was a year later when Gardiner fulfilled another goal by obtaining his Announcing credentials in the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association.

From there Brett gained momentum and notoriety within the association, from one sanctioned event in 2006 to now a near 40 weekend schedule that includes more than a dozen CPRA sanctioned events. With this success Gardiner was also recognized for his talents within the association by being voted as both the 2011 and 2012 Canadian Professional Rodeo association Announcer of the Year.

Over the last decade Gardiner has not only seen success at the CPRA level but has also become a mainstay on the Professional Bull Riders Canada scene. In 2011 and 2012 Brett was fortunate enough to be the Canadian voice on the Canadian Cup series which took him from Abbotsford, BC to Halifax, NS and most major cities in between, and then concluded in Saskatoon, SK when Brett was selected to work his first PBR Canada Cup Finals.

When not travelling the Rodeo trail Brett makes his home in Sylvan Lake, AB with his wife Jaclyn and their two children Grady and Hadley.
