Health and Wellness

To enhance the wellbeing of our employees and the people living within our areas of operation, Long Run provides funding to organizations and initiatives that positively contribute to the health and well-being of individuals and communities.

Children and Youth

Long Run believes in investing in children and youth to generate benefits for families and communities. Long Run understands the need for support programs and services that address issues and needs associated with youth. Focus areas are mental health, addictions, and engagement of youth.

Environment

Protection of the environment is integral to the success and longevity of communities. Long Run supports programs that focus on sustainability and environmental education.

Each year, the company matches funds raised by our employees for United Way.

Community Investment Program

Guidelines

The organization must be located in and/or serving the Long Run community.

The organization should be a registered charity which is eligible to issue official tax receipts for donations, or an established non-profit community organization.

Exclusions

Long Run Exploration will not generally support the following:

  • Individuals or groups - this includes salary, travel expenses, prize money, registration fees and expenses
  • Group and team travel expenses and registration fees
  • Sponsorships that include registration fees
  • Political parties and organizations
  • Conferences
  • Professional conventions
  • Commercial solicitors
  • Third party organizations, and or service clubs
  • Trade shows & open houses
  • Religious organizations

Please note: Many Long Run employees are affiliated with/play on sports teams and/or volunteer with charitable and/or not-for-profit organizations throughout Long Run’s area of operation. Organizations and teams should not assume that Long Run employee participation will prequalify them for a donation.
